Hitler played his Trump card

I’m very emotional right now, probably the most emotional I’ve ever been in my life. It is my belief that the end of democracy in the United States of America came today. The most inspirational Supreme Court Justice of my life time passed, and the amoral Majority Leader of the Senate is salivating. He has a President who even on his most giving day couldn’t give a shit about the average American. There is without a doubt going to be a nominee who is unqualified and undeserving to replace the most representative justice in the history of the United States. The Majority Leader made a point in 2016 that the American people deserved the right to vote on who their next Supreme Court Justice would be, but there is no doubt whatsoever on his hypocrisy. He is so happy that this president who looks at the Constitution and says…”Doesn’t apply to me” will be able to nominate his 3^rd justice.

The Republican party has no back bone to help them stand up anymore. They have forfeited that a long time ago, even before this Fascist that they are currently supporting. They do not represent America or how we wish to live. We want full representation, we want people who look and have lived how we have (I loathe the irony that I’m white and have benefitted fully from everything put forth). We want people who represent us, we want people are going to promote….us…all of us…everyone who lives in this country.

This President doesn’t give shit about anyone unless they will vote for him. He has said this very often over the last few years. If you don’t vote for him you are part of the problem. That’s why he is fine with white supremacists.  That’s why he is fine with Right Wing radicals. He doesn’t give a shit if you are a horrible human being, he doesn’t give a shit if you are a Nazi. Hell, he wishes that you are. He thrives off of people who think they are above others, he thrives off of people that are indifferent to others. He is most comfortable when people are pissed off at each other.

Mark 9/18/2020 down on your calendar. Unless Trump and his amoral lackies grow a sense of duty, this will be a day that we all look back on and understand that Democracy died. Democracy has been on a short thread for awhile, we’ve have the Attorney General, interfering in all kinds of things that the DOJ has absolutely no business looking into. He has interfered in all manners of mundane lawsuits, but the President was involved so therefore the DOJ should be involved…the constitution be damned. Who gives a shit about that document? The important thing is that the government says that black people are oppressed.
                With the Notorious RGB leaving this world, there are a few things that are certain to become true. Abortion (no matter your background, or line of thought on this) will go away. #BLM will become simply a hashtag. The feelings that underserved Americans have built over the last few decades will likely go away.
                In the end, the rights that people have fought for will end. Gender identity will end, marriage between 2 loving people will end. But what does it matter if we can restrict people from wedding those whom they love, or if we restrict a rape victim from giving birth? Who gives a shit that we are overt in our feelings that humans don’t matter? Who gives a shit that we aren’t capable of empathy? Who gives a shit that caring about humans is something we don’t do? Who gives a shit if Americans die, as long as our bullshitter in chief remains President.
