Imagine That

Imagine if you will an individual who was raised in the richest city in the world, who was given every opportunity known to man. Be it wealth, skin color, power. That person inherited tons of money and fool proof investments. They went on to star in a hit television show, making more money than most of us can comprehend. That person goes on to claim that people don't respect them, and continues any avenue at all to show people their power. Most of us would think that this person is an insane power hungry person completely removed from reality.

Apparently this is only something that a select few of us deem as a poor quality to possess. Evidently, a whiny sense of un-do pride is a desired trait. I was not aware of it, I was taught that you needed to try and put yourself out there. Apparently, I missed out on the fact that what was really needed to succeed was millions of dollars and a belief that a lack of either meant that you were a failure.

What made you successful was a sense of entitlement, it didn't matter your background. All you needed was a rich and famous family. Apparently that is the American dream. It's not how hard you work or how hard you believe in yourself. Its how rich your parents are. You could be the laziest, dimwitiest, most moronic child in your family, and still succeed.

It doesn't matter how dumb you are as long as there are people that think that you are a genius. You can be as dumb as a brick, but you are only as dumb as the stupidest person to follow you. It doesn't matter if 100% of your statements are false. It doesn't matter if you lie out of your teeth, it doesn't matter if you've been proven wrong thousands of times. All that matters is that the people who listen to you still listen to you even though there is no human explanation left on earth why they would listen to you.

You have catered to people that can't think, you have made yourself a champion of those who have been told what to think their whole lives. Congratulations, you have molded those who have desired molding. You haven't changed anyone's opinion. You've molded sheep. Congrats, please let me know when you decide to think about actual policy. Please let me know when you have a thought that might go up for debate, something that could actually benefit all of humanity, rather than just a small subset. Please let me know when you are ready to govern. Please let me know when you are ready for criticism, when you are ready for answering for all of your decisions.
A leader will answer to all of their decisions, they will not hide. They will admit that they are right, and that they are wrong. There will never be any you'll wait and see moments. Those are left to children, all leaders will admit to their mistakes, no matter how hard it can be. Sure it may take time to admit to them, but they will.
This country desires leadership, and there has been absolutely zero for 4 years. Its amazing that the country has continued on, but there has been some leadership available. The leadership has been available at the state level. They have been forced to fill in at the federal level since there has been no one who has been willing to take ownership for all of America. Not one single person has been willing to stand up for any US citizen since this pandemic started. Our leadership has come from the gubernatorial level. Governors have decided that living people are essential to our economy. The President has decided that dead people can still work, though they can't vote.
