Man trying to empathize with women part II

 

                I wish I had what it took to be an American woman. I wish I could have the bravery to stand up and speak for millions of others that have to make choices that I could never fathom.

 

I can’t do this, it requires a woman’s voice. It doesn’t matter what I say. I’m just a man saying things. It takes a woman’s voice.

 

But yet, we ignore them. We do not listen to women. We think that they can’t make decisions. They aren’t capable of leading. “But her emails”.

Truth is, we are intimidated by women. Women might change the way that the world works. Oh shit? There might be a new perspective, someone might have a new thought and approach a problem with a different point of view.

Who among us has not benefitted from a decision that a woman has made? Should we not put their decisions above all others. Within reason obviously, but we are who are because of the women in our lives.
